Stephen Baker

Stephen Baker has served as an associate (or assistant) pastor of CNB since 2003. In 2001 Stephen completed a Master of Ministry degree from the Reformed Baptist Pastoral Training Institute of Worcester, Massachusetts. Following this, he served as an elder at Grace Fellowship Church in Hazleton, Pennsylvania for three years before moving to Bloomington and joining CNB's pastoral staff. Stephen's responsibilities at CNB include preaching, pastoral counseling, discipling, and teaching; in addition, Stephen also serves as Dean and lead instructor at ClearNote Pastor's College.

Stephen married Sebra in 1994, and since then she has been a devoted advocate for his pastoral ministry. Like the other pastors' wives, Sebra is active in counseling ministry, and in mentoring young women in godliness. She also spends much time caring for the five sons God has given her and Stephen. The Bakers' sons are obedient, lively disciples of Jesus Christ who love CNB, serve it with vigor, and contribute much to its fellowship. They also are a major part of the loving, warm, open home that the Bakers provide.
