Tim Bayly

Tim Bayly has been serving ClearNote Church of Bloomington (CNB) since 1996. The first four years (1996-2000) he also was Executive Director of the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood. Before his call to CNB, he pastored Evangelical Community Church of Bloomington and Grace Presbyterian Church (PCA) of Pardeeville, Wisconsin. After his M.Div. at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Tim was ordained in 1983 by John Knox Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Together with his Wisconsin congregation, Tim transferred into the Presbyterian Church in America in 1991 where he held membership until 2010 when he transferred to ClearNote Fellowship.
Tim married Mary Lee (Taylor) in 1976 and Mary Lee serves as a strong help in his sanctification and the work of the ministry. Mary Lee also cares for her aged mother-in-law, Mary Lou Bayly, her eleven grandchildren, and the younger women of the congregation. By God's mercy, the Baylys' children and their spouses confess faith in Jesus Christ, love His Church, and are active in their congregations.
Dave (Max) Curell
Dave (Max) Curell has served as associate pastor of ClearNote Church since 2002. Earning his B.A. in Bible from Asbury College in 1984, Dave was ordained in the Association of Vineyard Churches in 1989, where he served as a church planter and pastor in Toledo, Ohio from 1989-1999. Since joining the ClearNote Church of Bloomington pastoral staff, Dave's responsibilities at CNB have included preaching, church leadership, small groups, instruction of new members, teaching, and worship.
Dave and his wife Annie have been blessed by God with three children and two grandchildren. The Curells' children (and one spouse) all love Jesus Christ and desire to serve His Church and their local congregation. Annie is devoted to supporting her husband's many roles at CNB. She's also active in caring for the women of the congregation, teaching children, and in creating a home that ministers to the broken and needy.
Stephen Baker
Stephen Baker has served as an associate pastor of ClearNote Church since 2003. In 2001 Stephen completed a Master of Ministry degree from the Reformed Baptist Pastoral Training Institute of Worcester, Massachusetts. Following this, he served as an elder at Grace Fellowship Church in Hazleton, Pennsylvania for three years before moving to Bloomington and joining CNB's pastoral staff. Stephen's responsibilities at CNB include preaching, pastoral counseling, discipling, and teaching; in addition, Stephen also serves as Dean and lead instructor at ClearNote Pastor's College.
Stephen married Sebra in 1994, and since then she has been a devoted advocate for his pastoral ministry. Like the other pastors' wives, Sebra is active in counseling ministry, and in mentoring young women in godliness. She also spends much time caring for the five sons God has given her and Stephen. The Bakers' sons are obedient, lively disciples of Jesus Christ who love CNB, serve it with vigor, and contribute much to its fellowship. They also are a major part of the loving, warm, open home that the Bakers provide.
